Covergirl total tease mascara has an innovative and unique brush which allows to fully lengthen lashes.

 The “teaser” ensures that the inner corner lashes are properly coated & defines the outer corner lashes by fanning them out for a more dramatic look. It also doesn’t clump up  very much which makes it ideal for thinner eyelashes. The teaser has dense bristles , which grabs on to the lashes really nicely and is perfect for separating the lashes. 

The formula is really rich and thick. Most importantly I didn’t experience any irritation or burning sensation in my eyes. Overall, this mascara gives more length than volume and it defines the lashes for a more glamourous look.
The second item that I received in this Voxbox is Katy Kat Eyeliner in Black.

This eyeliner is so easy to apply. The formula has a liquid like feel and texture to it.  The eyeliner literally glides on your skin and you can use the end to either clean up any mistakes or to smudge the lines for a more intense look.

 My favourite part is the angled sponge tip on the pencil that really helps to blend well and smudge makeup. 

Verdict:

The packaging for both the products are simple and cute. And both the products are long lasting. Overall, I would definitely recommend these products as they perform efficiently and are easily affordable. Thank you CoverGirl and Influenster for sending me these products to try!!

Holika Holika Masks

I received these masks from skin18.com for review purposes. This is the first time I am trying out a Holika Mask. Both masks contains Vitamins A, C & D for clear bright skin. It has no parabens, benzophenone, mineral oil, silicone or coloring. The packaging is very bright, colorful, eye-catching and attractive.  It also comes with instructions in English on the back.

The Holika Holika Juicy Mask sheet in pomegranate is focused on elasticity. The mask itself is thin but strong and soaked with serum. It has pomegranate, grapefruit, orange peel and apricot extract. This mask had a light pomegranate smell to it which I liked as it was not very overwhelming. The smell disappeared after sometime anyway.  Pomegranate contains estrogen which makes skin smooth and vibrant. It clung to my skin quite nicely.
I had this mask on my face for 30 minutes and when I removed it my skin looked smooth and bright. There was a lot of serum left in the pack too which I used on my hands and feet.

The Holika Holika Juicy Mask sheet in Blueberry is focused on energizing tired skin. When I first opened the pack, I smelled something wonderful. The mask had a heavenly floral scent to it! Seriously it was amazing they should bottle up this scent and sold it as perfumes. I mainly enjoyed the mask because of the scent.
The mask contains extracts of acai berry, grapefruit, acerola and blueberry. Blueberry is rich with athocyanine which is essential to provide vitality and energy to tired skin. My skin felt bright soft and hydrated after using this mask.

Inoface Modeling Cup Pack Collagen

I received this product from skin18.com for review purposes! So I kept the best for last! Actually I have never used a modeling mask before and since I was skeptical as to how well it would perform, I saved it for my last post on these skin18 kbeauties.
The packaging is very smart, attractive and colorful. It is a one – time use mask pack. I received the collagen version to use. Unfortunately this product did not have any instructions in English. But it is easy to Google how to use it or better just go to skin18.com for detailed instructions. (which is what I did).
This product claims provides moisture, strengthens skin and tightens pores. It also claims it is good for all types of skin especially sensitive.
When I opened the pack, which was nicely sealed by the way, I saw what looked like fine, white baby powder to me. It even felt like powder though it had no smell. The pack also comes conveniently with a small spatula to use.

The instructions claims to add water to the powder. But how to add the correct amount of water? Simple! Just use the cap of the pack to add two caps of water to the powder and mix with the spatula. Mix well till all the blobs disappear and it becomes a smooth white paste.
Next I used the spatula to apply this goopy mixture to my face and it kind of stuck to my skin. It was easy to apply. Most face masks that I have used ( which are mostly clay based), sometimes drips and makes the whole process messy. There would be spots of mask all over on my hands , neck, dress and the sink. But this was so easy and mess – free to use and apply. Since this mask just clung to my skin upon application, it did not drip nor was there any mess after application.

The texture of the mask was very toothpaste like if you know what I mean. I can’t exactly describe it but I liked it a lot better than the other wash off masks that I have tried.The instructions state that after application, wait for 15 – 20 minutes and then slowly peel away the mask. For me , I did not even have to wait that long. The mask soon started to thicken and harden. And already parts of it was peeling away all by itself. It was easy to peel and remove the mask. There were some bits and pieces sticking to my face but it was easily removable with water.

Final Thoughts 

This is the first time I have used a modeling mask and I have to say I am very impressed.  My skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated. My pores feel tight. I also did not experience any irritation or burning sensation while using this product.  The packaging is also a bonus.  It’s small compact size makes it travel friendly and one does not need to carry any additional tools required for this mask as it already comes with a spatula inside and the package is also shaped like a bowl. Plus it’s easy and mess – free application makes it a must-have while traveling. Overall, I like this product very much and will purchase it soon. Luke Green Tea Essence Mask

I received this product from skin18.com for review purposes. The packaging is very cute and  attractive and comes in an eye catching green color. The pack also contains instructions in English on the back.

This mask contains green tea essence which focuses on healing wrinkles, fine lines, age spots and firms skin. Green tea contains antioxidants which fights premature aging by eliminating free radicals and increasing the production of  new skin cells.

This mask smells amazing. It smells like a combination of something floral and a little bit like green tea. The mask itself is thick and firm and is loaded with lots of essence. It was not flimsy like some masks where you have to be extremely careful or the mask will tear. There was a decent bit of essence left in the pack too. I wore this mask for more than 30 minutes actually. After application,  my skin felt smooth , soft and bright.
FINAL THOUGHTS 

This is a good decent mask. I especially enjoyed the unique scent it had to offer. My skin also looked great after removing the mask.  It felt soft , smooth and well hydrated. as this mask focuses mostly on anti-aging and healing loose skin. Luke Mugwort Nose Cleansing Strip

I received this product from skin18.com for review purposes. This is a nose strip containing Mugwort, used for cleansing the pores on the nose, removing the blackheads, tightening the pores as well as soothing the tightened pores in case of any irritation. 

It also contains Vitamin E, aloe vera, licorice root and Hamamelis Virginiana. The packaging looks cute and attractive. It is a small packet as it contains only one strip which is good for a one time use only. The small packaging also makes it very travel friendly. It also has instructions in English on the back. 

When I first opened the pack, I noticed that the strip is sticking to a plastic liner. The instructions state to clean and wet the nose well as the strip will not stick to a dry nose. When I peeled off the strip, I noticed that it was not only very thin but it also resembled an ordinary paper sticker. Anyway when I applied it on my nose, I noticed a strong smell of Mugwort and it took sometime for the scent to completely disappear. I did not mind the smell as I love Mugwort but for those who are sensitive to scents be aware that the smell is quite strong.

After 10-20 minutes, the strip started to feel dry and stiff, indicating that it is ready to be removed. I then carefully managed to peel off the strip starting from the edges. My nose looked neat and clean to me.
Final Thoughts 

This nose strip was easy to apply and remove. After removing the strip from my nose, I looked at what it had collected and could see all the gunk on the strip. My nose looked smooth, clean and even the pores looked small. I feel like it has removed a lot of dirt and oil from my nose. Also I did not experience any irritation or redness. Overall a great nose strip which works really well and comes with an affordable price tag too. Thank you Skin18 for supplying me with this nose strip! LUKE VITAMIN HYDROGEL EYE PATCH

I received this product from skin18.com for review purposes. This is an eye mask. The packaging looks neat and clean. It is a small package as it contains only 2 pads which are good for one treatment. And again this is good for travel. There are also instructions in English on the back.

When I opened the pack, I noticed a faint orange scent, as I love oranges I did not mind this at all. And anyway the smell disappeared after sometime. As you can see the eye pads are pre-soaked with the treatment of moisture and Vitamin A, C, B5 & B3. These eye patches are loaded with the essential vitamins and moisture to prevent dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. They also help to brighten tired looking eyes.

One side of the eye patches are dry while the other side is sticking to a plastic liner. The other side is cool, damp and sticky to the touch once it is peeled off the plastic. The instructions claims that it is better to apply an eye cream or essence before putting these eye pads on but it is only optional. 

Once I have applied the eye pads to my eyes, they feel very cool , moist and refreshing. Just exactly what I need after along tiring day. These patches are easy to apply and remove. After 30 minutes I removed them to discover bright , moisturized and relaxed looking eyes. Again the instructions claims that you can finish this treatment off with an eye serum or a cream now which is optional.
Final Thoughts 

I loved this whole eye treatment experience. I actually liked this treatment so much that after 30 minutes I did not want to remove the eye patches at all as I was enjoying the cooling sensation a lot on my tired eyes. This is so perfect for travel, one can easily wear this in flight. My eyes looked bright, relaxed and hydrated after using this. Overall a great eye mask and very inexpensive too. PUREDERM MANGO YOGURT PACK

I received this product from skin18.com for review purposes. This is a wash off mask pack made in Korea, which claims to be suitable for all skin types. The packaging is a small, bright yellow pack with instructions in English on the back.  I like the color, reminds me of sunny days. Anyway, this pack is good for a one-time use only. But the small package makes it highly useful for travel.

Today I had a lot chores to do and was pressed for time. So I decided to use this mask as it requires only 5-10 minutes. This mask contains collagen, Vitamin E, mango extract, which soothes and moisturizes the skin & yogurt extract which softens and refreshes the skin.

When I opened the mask , I  was expecting a mango scent but it did not have any scent at all. Also I was expecting it to be more like some of my clay masks but it had a rich creamy texture. Almost like a thick , heavy , greasy moisturizer used on very dry skin. And that’s how it felt on my skin too when I applied it. But since it was a wash off mask and the instructions states to rinse it off after 5 – 10 minutes, I did not mind.

While on my face, the mask did not dry at all. It just sat there feeling wet and sticky on my face. After 10 minutes , I  washed it off. It was quite easy to remove as it had not dried at all but was still sticky and gooey. And my  skin did feel soft, smooth and moisturized afterwards.

 Final Thoughts 

 I like that it comes in a travel friendly packaging. And I would definitely use it on those days when I barely have any time on my hands. Plus it is a nice mask to use in the colder months when the skin can get very dry. But I doubt if it would suit those who have oily skin. It is also a good mask for those who don’t like masks that dry and leave a tightening feeling on the skin. Overall a nice mask that I would definitely use again. CRACARE ANTI-AGING SNAIL REPAIRING MASK

I received this mask from skin18.com for review purposes. This is a 3 – step essence mask focused mainly on Anti-aging, skin lightening and firming benefits. This is the first time I am using a 3 step Mask so I was really excited to try it. I never buy any 3 step masks mainly because I have lots of ampoules, Essences and night creams at home that I want to finish. 

Anyway onto the mask now, the packaging looks beautiful and attractive. I have always been attracted to gold colored packages. And on the back we have clear instructions in English too. This mask contains snail secretion which is highly effective in skin lightening and firming by deeply moisturizing the skin. 

The first step consists of applying the Anti-aging active ampoule after cleansing. The instructions state to apply the ampoule focusing on the area around the eyes and lips.  However I had so much of ampoule that I used them on my face and neck and I still had some left over which I applied on my feet. The ampoule had a light gel like consistency and quickly absorbed into my skin. I liked that it felt light and not greasy. It had a slight perfume like scent which faded on application. 

The second step is the snail essence mask. 

 
The mask itself felt thick and strong but soft on my skin. It was loaded with lots of essence but I did not experience any dripping. I liked the mask , it seemed to hold all the essence together on my face for 30 minutes and I felt comfortable with it the whole time.  After removing the mask,  I gently massaged the remaining essence into my skin.

The third step is the Anti-aging Night cream.Again the instructions state to apply the cream focusing on the area around the eyes and lips. And just like the ampoule, I had so much of the cream that I applied them on my face, neck and feet. The night cream is a thick, rich cream that did not feel heavy or greasy on my skin. Though it does take sometime to get absorbed into the skin. But once it is ansorbed, the cream made my skin hydrated , soft and bright. 

FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall I really loved pampering my skin at night by using this mask after a long day. This mask is perfect for travel as well as for everyday use , especially on those days when you might feel so lazy to go through the whole night time skin routine. I liked that it was so easy and convenient to use ( I used this whole 3 step mask lying down in my bed) and wake up to glowing , beautiful skin in the morning. Mirum Fresh Fruit Honey Real Nature Mask

​I received this face mask from skin18.com for review purposes. The packaging looks neat and clean. Though there are no instructions in English on the back, the idea of using a face mask is pretty basic. You remove the face mask from the cover and apply it on the face anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. I usually let it be on my face for 30 minutes because I like the cooling sensation. 

This face mask is for hydrated skin. I have used Mirum Face Mask before and it was a huge disappointment. However today my skin was feeling very dry and red so I thought honey would be soothing and hydrating. I opened the mask expecting a chemical smell like last time but was surprised to just get a slight whiff of honey. The mask was soft and thick with lots of serum. 

No mask had ever fit me properly so the mask maybe a little off. The serum was thin and had a water like consistency but it was not runny nor did my mask drip a lot. After 30 minutes, I removed the mask and my skin felt soft, smooth and hydrated. My angry red skin seems to have calmed down a little anyway. Overall I really liked this mask and I was pleasantly surprised at that as I did not like the last mask I used of Mirum Fresh Fruit Avocado. L’oreal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal

Our daily UV exposure , natural aging, hormonal changes and past acne marks cause an overproduction of skin darkening pigments making our skin look dull with an uneven skin tone. As we age, our natural ability to shed dead skin cells decline resulting in dark spots and uneven skin tone becoming more visible.

L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift Bright Reveal is dermatologist – inspired skincare line powered with : 

●Glycolic , helps in brightening and aanti-dark spots.

●Vitamin Cg, a known antioxidant with photo – protective properties

●Pro-Retinol ,  improves skin renewal minimizing wrinkles and uneven skin tone . 

First up in this collection is the ●RevitaLift Brightening Scrub Cleanser

This scrub has a light citrusy scent that disappears soon and does not linger long. This scrub had small exfoliating beads which helps in removing dead cells from the skin. My skin felt soft and smooth after using this product . 

Next is my favourite product in this line, ●RevitaLift Brightening Peel Pads.

The tub comes sealed and the pads are pre-soaked . When I first opened this product , I got a strong smell but the scent thankfully fades after application . The pads are so heavily soaked that one can cut it into two and use it twice. In this case, a little goes a long way . I have used similar products like this in the past but they Re very expensive . These pads work just as effectively as the other high end brands but cost less. I like using them every night and waking up to bright, smooth and glowing skin . 

Next is the ●RevitaLift Brightening Daily Lotion . 

This moisturizer contains SPF30 which is a must for me in any day cream . It has a citrusy scent but it fades away after application . Though the moisturizer has a thick texture , it absorbed quite well into my skin and did not leave a white cast . My skin felt soft and smooth after application . 

And finally we have, ●RevitaLift Brightening Dual Overnight Moisturizer.

This product also had a light citrusy scent but it quickly fades away upon application . This product comes in a dual shaped pump in which one side emits a lotion like serum and the other side emits a gel like moisturizer . The product applies smoothly but took sometime to sink in and get fully absorbed into the skin . It is not very moisturizing but for my combination skin it seems okay. And if my skin still feels dry , I just layer another moisturizer on top. 

I have been using this routine for a month , and it seems to be helping with my dark spots. They do seem lighter and my skin looks more radiant and bright. I received these products from Influenster for testing purposes and all opinions are my own.
